YAWI MUSIC ON FIRE - The Official Meaning & The Story Behind " I'm not coming home" by Omaonuh-Eba
*YAWI MUSIC ON FIRE IS OFFICIAL.*
If you search Google today, you will see it. YAWI MUSIC ON FIRE is the official music slogan and brand identity for Nigerian Afrobeat artist Omaonuh-Eba.
But what does YAWI mean?
I am Sunday Ejigah, aka Omaonuh-Eba. I am from Ofante Ogugu, Olamaboro, Kogi State — a proud Igala son based in Abuja.
*YAWI* in my language means *TO FLY*. To soar. To not stay down.
*MUSIC ON FIRE* means our dream no dey quench. Our hustle no dey stop. If dem try quench us, we go fly!
So *YAWI MUSIC ON FIRE = We Will Keep Flying, Our Fire Will Never Quench.*
That is why I created my new anthem *"I'm Not Coming Home"*.
This song is not just music. It is the ghetto alarm for every youth who left village with Ghana-must-go, enter Abuja, Lagos, with big dream. We told mama "I'm not coming home until I make am!"
It is for every Igala pikin, every Kogi boy, every Abuja hustler.
Stream "I'm Not Coming Home" on TikTok @yawimusiconfire and all platforms. This is our story.
We are not coming home. We are going up!
